Performed twice every Saturday evening, the Gwangalli Drone Show is a spectacular night out that you won’t soon forget. The official name is Gwangalli Drone Light Show.
As the first permanent show in Korea and the largest drone show in the world, Gwangalli Drone Show has slightly different show times during the summer months.
Summer Winter showtimes
The summer season runs from March to September, with shows starting at 20:00 and 22:00 every Saturday, and the winter season runs from October to February, with shows starting at 19:00 and 21:00 every Saturday.
The drone show takes place in the sky above Gwangalli Beach, so you can watch it from any part of the beach. You just need to arrive in time for the show to start.
The duration of the drone show is short, about 10 minutes, so be sure to arrive at the start time so you don’t miss out on the spectacular show.

New Year’s Countdown Drone Show
Every Saturday evening is a permanent show, and on special occasions, drone shows are held separately.
In particular, the New Year’s Countdown Drone Show at midnight on 31 December is a spectacular performance that you don’t want to miss.
On 31 December 2023, it was a spectacular sight to see a blue dragon flying through the sky. In fact, the end of 2023 drone show was postponed to the next day, 1 January. It was said that there was a communication failure, and many people who waited late at night were disappointed, but they came back the next evening.
