Cherry blossoms can be seen in various places in Busan from late March to early April, and in the Suyeong-gu area of Busan, the road to Hwangnyeongsan Bongsudae, Geumnyeonsan Youth Center, and Namcheon-dong Cherry Blossom Street are famous for cherry blossoms.
Hwangnyeongsan Beacon Fire Station (Bongsudae)
You can get off at Geumryeonsan Station on the subway, exit 6 and go up to the mountain, and it takes more than 30 minutes on foot.
About 10 minutes up the road, you will see cherry trees on both sides of the road, and cherry blossoms continue to reach the beacon. The more you go up to the top, the more colorful the cherry blossoms you can see.
Cherry blossoms are in full bloom on the way to the Bongsudae of Hwangnyeongsan Mountain. If you go by car, you can park on the shoulder and take a picture with cherry blossoms in the background, which can be a wonderful memory.
It’s also a wonderful place to see the whole of Busan. You can also see the entire Gwangan Bridge in front of Gwangalli Beach.
The picture above was taken on April 2, 2024, and there is 3 to 4 days until the cherry blossoms are fully bloomed.
On weekends when cherry blossoms are in full swing, many tourists come up the mountain road by car, so it may be difficult to take pictures, so if you use weekdays as much as possible, you can take wonderful pictures with cherry blossoms in the background.
The way to one’s destination :
Geumnyeonsan Youth Center
The route to visit is the same as the Hwangnyeongsan Bongsudae and you can reach the main gate of the Geumnyeonsan Youth Center on the right by going up the road for about 20 minutes.
Inside the Youth Center, cherry blossoms are blooming beautifully and decorated like octagonal pavilion and parks, making it a good place to sit on a bench and relax.
Vehicles charge parking fees, but people are free with no entrance fees. Bathrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and there are coffee vending machines.
There is also an observatory where you can observe the stars in the night sky, so it can be a good experience.
There is a representative cherry blossom tree in the center of the training center, which looks like the picture and is lined with cherry trees around. The Youth center is like a park, so there are many things to see.
Namcheon Cherry Blossom Street
Samik Beach, located on the right side of Gwangalli Beach, is crowded with cherry blossom tourists during the cherry blossom season.
Namcheon Cherry Blossom Street is named Namcheon Cherry Blossom Street, and cherry blossoms are spectacular on the left and right sides of the road that runs through the center of the apartment building, and the cherry blossoms on the next road are also good places to take pictures.
The roads are complicated because we don’t control vehicles during the cherry blossom season, but there are so many people taking pictures on the cherry blossom-filled roads.
You can get to Namcheon Cherry Blossom Street if you get off at Geumryeonsan Station, exit number 5, and go down to the sea below. When you get down to the sea road, hit it to the right. You can see it with your eyes right away.
You’ll get there if you walk about 15 minutes from the subway station.

The first is Bongsudae of Hwangnyeongsan Mountain, the second is Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Center, and the third is Namcheon-dong Cherry Blossom Street.
The most efficient way to see cherry blossoms is to go down from Bongsudae to Namcheon-dong.
If you want to see it on foot, you have to leave for the morning arrival schedule of the Hwangnyeongsan Bongsu. If you want to see it by car, you can leave for the schedule of arriving at the Hwangnyeongsan Bongsu at 1 p.m.
